Mr. Beer an Easy Way to Start Brewing

For anyone making their first attempt at brewing, I would first recommend going online to the Mr. Beer website. This website sells great entry level kits that introduce you to brewing for cheap. They provide everything you need to make 2 gallons of beer, from a plastic fermenter, ingredients, caps, & bottles.  Though with everything, there are pros and cons to using a kit like this.

Pros:

• Everything is provided
• 58 different recipes to choose from
• Fermenter is simple and easy to use
• Step by step instructions are written clearly and easy to follow

Cons:

• Fermenter is a little too simple; a cap with airlock would be better.
• Fermenter is made of cheap plastic so it's not dishwasher safe.
• Provided recipes in kit are not as good by comparison to the ones that can be bought separately.

If you're not too sure about how serious you are going to be about making beer or you just want to get some insight on the process, this might be one of the cheapest ways to do it in the privacy of your own home.
